This study was carried out to detect the concentration of heavy metals (Zn, Ni, Cd) in the muscle, gill and hepatopancreas tissues of female and male sexes of Litopenaeus vannamei in Choebdeh shrimp culture (Abadan) at fall 2013. Sampling was conducted with 4 repeats at 3 pounds by net. After separating of tissues, samples were digested by acid digestion with nitric and percloric acid and hydrogen peroxide. The analyses for the detection of heavy metals were carried out by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The highest concentration of Zn related to gills (2.83±0.93 mg kg (- 1) d.w.). The highest concentration of Ni related to hepatopancreas (0.07±0.03mg kg (- 1) d.w.). Cd were no detected in 100% of all samples. The alteration process of Ni in the selected tissues order hepatopancreas > gills > muscle. The alteration process of Zn in the selected tissues order gills > muscle > hepatopancreas. Also significant differences (P<0.05) were recorded between the Ni and Zn concentrations in hepatopancreas with other tissues. Based on results, Heavy metals concentration in tissues hepatopanceras, musscle and gill of Litopenaeus vannamei were lower than WHO standard in Choebdeh shrimp farms (Abadan) |
