Methods to remove heavy and toxic metals from wastewater in comparison with conventional physical and chemical methods are more efficient. The aim of this study is using brown algae )Sargassum angustifolium( for the removal of nickel ions from the aqueous solution. In this study, isotherm and kinetics of heavy metal removal nickel was determined by algae. Brown algae were collected from the coast of Oman Sea in Chabahar. This study has shown nickel (II) uptakes, equilibrium time of about 300 minutes and the adsorption equilibrium date were well described by Langmuir equation. The maximum capacity has been extrapolated to 0.65 and 0.75 mmol /g for Sargassum angustifolium at pH 4 and 5, respectively. The high values of the correlation coefficient (Sargassum R2 = 0.959 at pH 4, and R2= 0.9992 at pH 5) and bL the Langmuir constant equal 54.05, 150.15 to demonstrate equilibrium data concerning algal biomass, which fits well the Langmuir isotherms model equations well.
