Abstract:   (4929 Views)
This study was designed to determine the effect of dietary isoflavone-genistein on some immunological parameters infarmed beluga,Husohuso. A total of 30 fish (mean weight 26.1±1.8 g and mean length 155.3± 7 cm) were stocked into the concrete ponds. Experimental fish were fed withpractical diets supplemented with 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.6 g/kg diet for 12 weeks. Blood sampling carried out at the beginning and the end of experiment for immunological studies. Basedon obtained resultsno significant differences were found in all dosages and time of using isoflavone-genistein on in white blood cell (WBC). Neutrophil number reduced significantly in all dosages in July compared to April. But eosinophil at all tested dosage was higher than in control treatment. Monocyte decreased significantly at concentrations 0.4 and 0.8 in July than in April (P<0.05). Results revealed that serum complements levels) CH50andC4 (in all tested dosage werelower in July than in April, but values were not significantly different. Lysozyme concentration in dose of 0.8 g/kg genistenwas significantly higher in July than in April. Also, IgM and C3 concentrations in dose of 1.6 g/kg dietwere considerably higher in April than in July. With regard to results, it can be note that some immunological parameters such as IgM and complements changed significantly in all dosages and time of using isoflavone-genistein, suggesting immune system of Husohuso influenced by different concentrations of isoflavone-genistein in response to physiological and environmental changes.
