Abstract:   (5426 Views)
The present work reports on blood profile measured of 4-5 years old Great sturgeon cultured in brackish water ponds in Bafgh-Iran, summer 2005. Blood sampling was performed in caudal vein every three month and plasma was frozen for future analysis. Hormone levels were measured by Radio ImmunoAssay (RIA), Glucose byAuthoanalyser, calcium and magnesium by spectrophotometer and sodium and potassium byfilmphotometer in Yazd central laboratory. Statistical results showed that some biochemical parameter have direct significant correlation including glucose/calcium, sodium/potassium, sodium/magnesium potassium/calcium and potassium/magnesium, that with increase of someone, amount of other will be increase. Among hormonal profile, testosteronez/estradiol had direct significant correlation normaly with increasing one, the second increases too. In addition, Cortisol with glucose, sodium and potassium had also direct significant correlation, but Cortisol had not any significant correlation with sextual and this correlation was inverted. Eventually the relation of Esteradiol with Testosterone calcium is according to the some reports.
